The patron saint of Correggio is Saint Quirinus of Siscia, bishop and martyr, celebrated on 4 June in the basilica named after him, one of the town's main religious buildings.
The municipal territory also holds the church of San Francesco, that of San Giuseppe Calasanzio and the church of the Madonna della Rosa. Among the civic monuments are the Palazzo dei Principi, the former residence of the da Correggio family, and the Teatro Bonifazio Asioli, named after the composer and musician born in the town.
