The patron of San Quirino, who gives the town its name, is Saint Quirinus of Siscia, celebrated on 4 June in the Arch-Priest's Church of San Quirino.
The municipal territory includes the Magredi di San Quirino biotope, a natural area characteristic of western Friuli.
