The patron of Basiliano is Saint Andrew the Apostle, celebrated on 30 November in the Church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo.
In mid-March, in the hamlet of Blessano, the «Fieste dai ucei» exhibition-market and bird fair is held; between August and September, also at Blessano, the Blessound music festival takes place with live concerts. In the first half of August, in the hamlet of Vissandone, the «Fieste tra amîs» feast is held, while in the first three weeks of July, on the Colle di San Leonardo at Variano, the Luglio varianese festival takes the stage.
