The patron saint of Ceccano is Saint John the Baptist, celebrated on 24 June in the Collegiate Church of San Giovanni Battista.
The town is also linked to the figure of Saint Magnus, bishop of Trani who died precisely in Ceccano on 19 August 251 and is venerated as a martyr saint, his story tied to the spread of Christianity in the area and to the construction of the cathedral of Anagni. In the past, the statue of Saint Vitus was instead at the centre of a feast held on 15 June, during which the people of Ceccano danced and prayed around the statue asking for heavenly favours. The town also holds the Castle of the Counts of Ceccano and the church of San Sebastiano.
