The patron of Campodimele is Saint Onuphrius (sant'Onofrio), celebrated on 12 June; the municipality holds the Monastero Sant'Onofrio.
The families of Campodimele who emigrated to Canada have exceeded two thousand in Toronto alone, and in 1976 the «Campodimele Social Club» was founded in that city, with about a thousand members, with the aim of reaffirming the traditions of the home town, strengthening ties with the homeland and giving vigour to the devotion to Saint Onuphrius.
