The patron of Terracina is Saint Caesarius and his date would be 5 November. The feast, however, is never held on that day: it is always moved to the following Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so that the Triduum does not coincide with the solemnity of All Souls.
The central moment is the Saturday evening procession: the statue and the Arm of the Saint leave the cathedral for the streets of the town, after the mass concelebrated by the diocesan bishop with all the priests of Terracina.
