The patron saints of Gavardo are Saints Philip and James, celebrated on 3 May in the Church of Santi Filippo e Giacomo.
On the holidays near Christmas, a living nativity scene is set up. The town holds the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the remains of the Calchera, an old lime kiln.
