The patrons of Ponte di Legno are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June with the sagra and fair of San Pietro.
Among the town's feasts and occasions is Mid-Lent Thursday, the «Giudi' de la Meza», when the will is read and then the Old Woman is burned; even today the Vicinia distributes salt free of charge to each capofuoco, that is to every resident family. With Recco, twinned since 1956, there is an exchange: on the Sunday before Easter the young people of Recco send palms, while in winter the municipality cuts fir trees to decorate the squares of Recco. In September gastronomic sagre mark the end of summer.
