The patron saint of Seregno is Saint Valeria, celebrated on the last Monday of April: for the occasion, a large fair is held every year, enlivening the streets of the district that bears her name. Devotion to the saint is also attested by the Teatro Santa Valeria, one of the town's main cultural venues.
Seregno also holds important religious buildings such as the basilica of San Giuseppe and the church of the Beata Vergine dei Vignoli, along with landmark sites of the old town such as the Torre Civica and the GruBrìa park, the town's green lung.
