The patron of Zerbo is Saint Peter, celebrated on the third Sunday of May and on 29 June; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Pietro Apostolo.
In June 1972 the banks of the Po at Zerbo hosted the second Re Nudo Festival, organised by the magazine of the same name: about 10,000 young people peacefully reached the village, among them a young Eugenio Finardi. The municipality also holds the Chiesuolo della Madonna di Loreto.
