The patron of Ispra is Saint Martin of Tours, celebrated on 11 November in the Church of San Martino Vescovo.
The town holds Villa Quassa, on the southern shore towards Ranco, where General Luigi Cadorna spent his childhood; its expansive park, among the largest in the area, holds altars, plaques and urns. Ispra also holds Villa Brivio Sagramoso, built in the nineteenth century between the town centre and the lake, and the Castello di San Cristoforo.
