The patron of Polverigi is Saint Antoninus of Apamea, celebrated on 2 September in the Church of Sant'Antonino Martire.
In early July the town hosts the Inteatro Festival, an international contemporary theatre festival with performances, conferences and seminars on the theme of theatre. The town also holds the Teatro della Luna and the «Domenico Mancia» park.
