The patron saint of Castel di Lama is Saint Athanasius, celebrated on 2 May.
In the first week of every September, the Santissimo Crocifisso agricultural fair, the historical re-enactment of the Podestà's installation, and the Crossbow Tournament are held. In August, at Croce-Villa Forcella, a local feast is held with the traditional Ruzzola wheel-rolling game. The town also holds the Church-shrine of the Madonna degli Angeli di Villa Chiarini and the historic Villa Seghetti Panichi.
