The patron saint of Sava is Saint John the Baptist, celebrated on 24 June in the church dedicated to him, with events ranging from music to art and culture, including exhibitions and gatherings; also in June, the traditional Saint John's tournament begins.
The first Sunday of March brings the Feast of the Madonna di Pasano, with the traditional pilgrimage to the sanctuary 3 km from the town of Sava. On 19 March, the Tables of Saint Joseph, known in the Sava dialect as «Mattre», are also laid out. The municipal territory also holds the Oil Museum and the Church of the Holy Physicians Cosmas and Damian.
