The patron of Orosei is Saint James the Apostle, celebrated on 25 July in the Church of San Giacomo Maggiore.
The town also holds the Shrine of Nostra Signora del Rimedio, once the site of traditional palio races held during its feast, no longer held today. The town also holds the Panatta and Dudurri nuraghi.
