The patron of Suelli is Saint George of Suelli, celebrated every year on Whit Monday. The festival begins the previous Thursday with the traditional «circa de is carrus», continues on Friday with the march to the mountain of Suelli with the carts (today motorised farm vehicles, such as tractors) and ends on the Tuesday after Pentecost.
The town's other festivals include the sagra del Chicco d'Oro, in August, which ends with a tasting of various kinds of pasta, and the feast of Saint Sebastian, built around the typical «foghidoni», a big bonfire, during which «parafritti», fried ring-shaped sweets, and vernaccia wine are served.
