The patron of Reitano is Saint Erasmus, celebrated on 2 June.
In its only hamlet, Villa Margi, stands the large sculpture «Finestra sul mare» (Window on the Sea) by Tano Festa, part of the open-air art park Fiumara d'arte created by the patron of the arts Antonio Presti; the town also holds the Museo Civico Pinacoteca, the Chiesa Madre di Reitano, the Chiesa di Sant'Antonio and the Chiesa del Carmine.
