The Festa di San Lorenzo (Feast of Saint Lawrence), the patronal feast of Calliano, is celebrated on 10 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Lorenzo.
The Carnevale di Calliano is a traditional festival with a macaroni feast in the square and a parade of the little masks. The municipality also holds Castel Pietra and the church of Santi Fabiano e Sebastiano, and the village was the location for some of the filming of «La dama velata».
