Capalbio celebrates Saint Bernardino of Siena on 20 May. Since 1994 it has hosted the Capalbio Cinema International Short Film Festival, inaugurated by Michelangelo Antonioni.

Since 1994 the town has hosted the Capalbio Cinema International Short Film Festival, inaugurated by Michelangelo Antonioni and dedicated ever since to promoting Italian and international auteur short films. The town also holds the Tarot Garden and the Castello di Capalbiaccio, as well as the Church of San Nicola.
