The patron saint of Adria is Saint Bellino, celebrated on 26 November.
The town holds the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul and the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, as well as the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel. The National Archaeological Museum of Adria holds important testimony to the town's Etruscan and Roman past, from which the Adriatic Sea takes its name.
