On 7 October Martellago celebrates its patron Our Lady of the Rosary; the town also preserves Villa Priuli Grimani Morosini, one of the area's Venetian villas.
Positioned about 15 kilometers northwest of Venice, Martellago acts as a transition point between the mainland outskirts of Mestre and the wider Miranese district. The municipality counts 21,171 residents and borders local towns like Mirano and Noale.
While fully integrated into the Venetian metropolitan network for civil services and education, the area falls under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Treviso diocese, reflecting the overlapping historical boundaries of the mainland.
