The patrons of Magliano de' Marsi are Saints John and Paul and Saint Lucy, celebrated on the last weekend of June.
On Good Friday, the rite of the Desolata is held, starting from the Church of Santa Lucia. Between Epiphany and Carnival day, the traditional cheese game is played, in the so-called Tornoterra circuit: said to date back to 1752, it consists of throwing a large wheel of cheese using only the force of one hand. The town also holds the Church of Santa Maria in Valle Porclaneta and the Tomb of Perseus.
