The patrons of Scurcola Marsicana are Saint Anthony of Padua and Saint Vincent Ferrer, celebrated together on the first Sunday of July.
On Good Friday, the town re-enacts the Passion of Christ with a procession visiting the seven churches of Scurcola: hooded figures parade in white, burgundy and black robes. In the second half of August comes the Sagra della ciammella, with a parade of allegorical floats, a procession of traditional Abruzzese costumes, and the handing out of the typical ciammelle pastries. The town holds the Rocca Orsini and the Abbazia di Santa Maria della Vittoria.
