The patron of Rocca di Mezzo is Saint Leucius, celebrated on 11 January and, with a summer feast, in late July.
The town is known for the Festa del Narciso, one of the most characteristic and long-lived folk events in Abruzzo: it has been held on the last Sunday of May since 1947, and the narcissus, which blooms spontaneously on the Rocche plateau, has become the town's natural symbol.
