The patron of Manoppello is the Holy Face, a veil bearing the image of a face which, according to local tradition, was used to wipe the face of Christ; it is kept and venerated in the Basilica del Volto Santo, a pilgrimage destination from all over the world. The patronal feast is celebrated on the Monday after the third Sunday of May, in the historic centre.
The town also holds the Abbey of Santa Maria Arabona, the Church of San Pancrazio Martire and the Robert Baden Powell park.
