The patron of Scafa is Our Lady of Mount Carmel, celebrated on the last Sunday of August.
The town holds Cesare's water mill and borders the Parco Lavino, as well as the Ponte Maiella bridge, and also holds the Church of Sant'Antonio e Santa Maria Goretti.
