The celebrations in honour of the patron Saint Vitus take place every year from 14 to 16 June and are preceded by the feast of 9 May, called that of «little» Saint Vitus (San Vito «piccolo»). The three days open with the inter-municipal fair of 14 June; on 15 June a procession in honour of the saint goes from the main church to the Badia di San Vito, outside the built-up area, and on 16 June a second one goes through the town's main streets, with band, concerts, musical performances and festive lights.
In August the Palio delle contrade takes place, in which the four districts of the town (San Giovanni, Immacolata, Belvedere and Calvario) compete in tournaments and games of the popular tradition, such as the carriage race, vehicles with a wooden body and four ball bearings as wheels, without a motor; the timed race is the final test.
