The patron of Caposele is Saint Lawrence, celebrated on 10 August in the Main Church of San Lorenzo Martire.
The town holds the Shrine of San Gerardo Maiella, a pilgrimage destination, and hosts the MuDea - Water Museum, tied to the source of the Sele river. The town also holds the rock-cut Church of San Vito.
