The patron of Frigento is Saint Marcian, celebrated on 14 June.
Every 9 May, at Piano della Croce, the feast of the Madonna del Buon Consiglio is held, accompanied by a fair: it commemorates the finding of a majolica tile depicting Mary and the baby Jesus, which, together with the faithful's devotion, gave rise to the shrine in 1920. Since 1991, every August, the Festa dell'organetto (accordion feast) is also held in the square in front of the shrine. The town also holds the Masseria Di Chiara and Villa Frigento.
