The patron of Montefalcione is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 13 June in the shrine dedicated to him, the main church of Santa Maria Assunta.
From Thursday to the following Monday, solemn festivities take place in his honor and that of Saint Lucy, virgin and martyr, with a concert on Saturday. A distinctive feature of the town's processions is the so-called «asta dei santi» (saints' auction): when the statue is carried out, an auction is held among those wishing to carry it on their shoulders. The town also holds the Church of San Giovanni Battista and the hamlet of Montefalcione-Vecchio.
