The patron saint of Marigliano is Saint Sebastian, celebrated on 20 January.
In the town's chapel of the patron saints are kept the sculptures depicting the three saints venerated alongside him: the statues of Saint Vitus and Saint Roch, in carved and painted wood, date from the 16th-17th centuries, while the silver statue of Saint Sebastian has been rebuilt several times following thefts over the years. Among the town's main places of worship is the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, founded as a parish around the year 1000 and raised to collegiate status in 1494 at the will of Count Alberico Carafa, its present appearance shaped in the early decades of the 18th century by the work of Domenico Antonio Vaccaro.
