The patron of Rutino is San Michele Arcangelo, celebrated on the second Sunday of May.
The feast, the most important of the year, falls on the second Sunday of May; during the celebrations the statue of San Michele is adorned with the offerings of the faithful. The patron saint of the hamlet is Sant'Anna, celebrated with a patronal feast on the Sunday after 26 July. The municipality also holds the Oasi Fiume Alento and the Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni.
