The patron saint of Casalecchio di Reno is Saint Martin of Tours, celebrated on 11 November in the church of San Martino Vescovo, the town's main place of worship.
The municipal territory also holds other notable religious buildings, including the church of San Biagio and the church of San Giovanni Battista, the latter designed by architect Melchiorre Bega and built between 1962 and 1967. Among the most significant historic sites is also the Eremo di Tizzano, along with the 18th-century Villa Marescalchi.
