The patron of Dozza is the Madonna del Calanco, celebrated on the Tuesday after Pentecost; in the hamlet of Toscanella, Santa Maria del Carmine is instead celebrated on the same date.
The Feste del Patrono span Pentecost Sunday, from the preceding Saturday to the following Saturday, involving the whole population of Dozza and the surrounding area: on the Saturday before Pentecost, the image of the Blessed Virgin is carried in procession to Dozza. In spring, «Vino in Festa» is also held, dedicated to Dozza's Albana wine, while on the first weekend of September, since 1991, the «Festa delle Arzdore» takes place, three days centred on Romagna cuisine. The town also holds the Rocca di Dozza fortress.
