The patron of Corte Brugnatella is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March.
In this area the leading instrument of the festivities is the Apennine piffero which, accompanied by the accordion and once by the müsa (the Apennine bagpipe), leads the dances; in the village of Marsaglia the tradition of the calendimaggio, also called «carlin di maggio», has been preserved, with the participation of the whole village.
