The patron of Castions di Strada is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March in the Church of San Giuseppe.
The imperial drums that always accompany the town band in its performances were named official drums of the Palio Donna by the City of Udine, in the years the event was held there. The territory also holds the Selvote peat bog biotope, as well as the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena.
