The patron of Sutrio is Saint Blaise, celebrated on 3 February.
On the last Sunday of July «Fasìn la mede», the hay festival, takes place, re-enacting the haymaking work on Monte Zoncolan: the «setors» (the men) mow the grass and «las vores» (the women) build «las Medes», great haystacks, while people eat in the traditional stavoli. In the town one can also admire the animated nativity scene of Teno, built over more than thirty years of work by the craftsman Gaudenzio Straulino.
