The patron of Castrocielo is Saint Lucy, celebrated on 13 December in the Church of Santa Lucia.
Every year in August, the Palio delle Contrade is held, three days of festivities through the town's streets. The town also hosts the Living Passion Play, when hundreds of costumed performers re-enact the last hours of Jesus's life, and the Natale Ciociaro, with a nativity scene in traditional Ciociaria costume. The territory holds the archaeological remains of Aquinum, with its baths and Capitolium.
