On 10 and 11 August San Gerardo di Gallinaro, patron of the village, is celebrated with a pilgrimage to remember his Christian example. The religious worship is followed by a civic festival often enlivened by famous singers and comedians.
Gallinaro is a pilgrimage destination because of the alleged apparition of the child Jesus to a girl, Giuseppina Norcia, on 13 June 1947. The municipality holds the church of San Gerardo, the Chiesa dei Santi Giovanni Battista ed Evangelista and the church of Santa Maria del Carmine.
