Approaching Sezze from the Pontine plain, the first thing visible is its historical center perched on a high hill, dominating the landscape below. Originally the Roman settlement of Setia, this municipality in the Latina province sits 10 kilometers inland from the Mediterranean coast and 65 kilometers south of Rome.
