The patron of Sonico is Saint Lawrence (san Lorenzo), celebrated on 10 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Lorenzo Martire.
Once Sonico had a singular custom: spreading large sheets on the churchyard of the church of sant'Andrea at the start of mass; the same tradition was practised at Ceto too. The municipality also holds the Santuario della Madonna di Pradella, the Chiesetta di San Gottardo, the Cima Plem and the Percorso pluritematico del Coren delle Fate.
