🎉 Patron saint festival

Feast of Saint James

📍 Bellagio · Como · Lombardy

On 25 July Bellagio celebrates Saint James, the patron who gives his name to the Romanesque basilica at the top of the village, above the point where Lake Como splits in two.

The patron of Bellagio is Saint James and his day falls on 25 July, in the middle of the lake season. The Romanesque basilica at the top of the village is dedicated to him, just above the point where Lake Como divides into its two branches.

The village confraternity keeps its own feast on another date: the memory of Saint George, on 23 April.
