The patrons of Bellano are Saints Nazarius and Celsus, celebrated on 28 July.
Every year, for four centuries, even through wars and hardship, the people of Bellano have staged the procession of the Three Kings, the Pese race through the town's streets and the bonfire on the pier, a tradition that has seen various changes over time. The town also holds the Church of Santa Marta and the Museum of Milk and the History of the Muggiasca.
