On the bell tower of the parish church there used to be, painted on the outside, a great Saint Christopher, put there so that the travellers crossing by the pass of San Lucio could see him; today the fresco has been detached and is inside the church. The bell tower is late Romanesque, of the end of the twelfth century, and the church keeps paintings of the centuries after.

A little higher, on the hairpin bends, stands the oratory of Sant'Ambrogio, the oldest church: above its door is a marble Christ of nine centuries ago, one of the rare Romanesque high reliefs of the Como area, and beside it a graveyard of tombs cut into the rock, found at the beginning of the twentieth century. The statue of the saint, a copy of a Baroque one, was stolen in 1972. The municipal coat of arms is new, of 2023: it has the sun rising from the Sasso di Cusino and six bellflowers, the flower that grows up here.
