The patrons of Formigara are Saint Eurosia and Saints Nazarius and Celsus (sant'Eurosia e santi Nazario e Celso), celebrated on 28 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa dei Santi Nazario e Celso.
On the last two days of January and the first of February the traditional «Canti della Merla» (songs of the Merla) are performed on the churchyard; on the fourth Sunday of September the Sagra is held, with market stalls and exhibitions.
