On 29 September Malgesso celebrates Saint Michael the Archangel; the village also hosts the Pipe Museum.
Malgesso has gone back where it had already been: annexed to Bardello in 1809 under Napoleonic rule, then independent again, since 1 January 2023 it has been one of the three parts of the municipality of Bardello con Malgesso e Bregano. In between lie more than two centuries and a village that in 1751 counted one hundred and sixty-five souls.
Of the old identity what remains is the mulberry, which was the charge on its coat of arms: the tree whose leaves feed silkworms. In the arms of the new municipality the mulberry stands beside the tower of Bregano and the perch of Bardello, three signs put together like three villages.
