The patron of Arcevia is Saint Medard, celebrated on 8 June in the Collegiate Church of San Medardo.
The last weekend of September brings the Festa dell'Uva, with allegorical float parades, a Palio and food-and-wine stalls: prizes are awarded for the best float, the winning Palio association and the best humble dish among those offered by the associations. Since 1984, Arcevia has also sent a delegation to Tredozio for the Disfida dell'Uovo, an Easter egg-tapping contest. The town also holds the Castello di Loretello.
