The patron saints of Castelfidardo are Saints Victor and Corona, celebrated on 14 May.
The town is linked to the historic Battle of Castelfidardo of 1860, which saw Piedmontese troops clash with papal forces and marked a fundamental stage of the Italian Risorgimento: the event is commemorated by the National Monument of the Marche and the Risorgimento Museum. The town also holds the Church of the Madonna della Consolazione and the Collegiate church of Santo Stefano.
