The patrons of Serra San Quirico are Saints Quiricus and Julietta, celebrated on 15 July.
Between late August and early September, the town hosts the Frasassi Climbing Festival, the biggest climbing event in the Marche region, showcasing the Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi Regional Nature Park. During Lent, on particular occasions, the prodigious «blooming» of the Holy Thorn relic is traditionally awaited. The town also holds the Castello di Rotorscio and the Abbey of Sant'Elena.
