Porto San Giorgio celebrates Saint George on 23 April; on 14 August, the Festa del Mare is held, born in the late 1960s to commemorate the fishermen's strike of 7 April 1795, while on 15 August Castel San Giorgio opens the Cavalcata dell'Assunta procession in Fermo.
